FCA COACHES TIMEOUT
JUNE 14-16, 2024
Coaches Timeout (CTO) was a weekend-getaway designed for a coach and their spouse to reconnect, relax and refresh. CTO is also designed to encourage and equip coaches and their spouses in their faith, family, and finances.

We are committed to training up the next generation to love Biblically, serve sacrificially and lead boldly wherever God leads them. We are honored to partner with Student Leadership University to provide this world-class leadership journey.

Meetings will be held once a month- beginning September 2023 and lasting throughout the school year with our last meeting in April 2024. First year caps off with a summer trip to Orlando, FL.

RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL
What is FIELDS OF FAITH?
These are student-led events happening around the country. Students invite, pray for, share with, and challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral rally point, where a community can come together. This spring, we are excited to host Fields of Faith at Riverview High, as well as Venice High. Check out our recap from last fall's North Port High School event!
FCA 5K
April 13, 2024
Join us for our second annual FCA 5K as we support student leaders in our community. This event will be a family-focused run, welcoming every runner/walker to join us at Venice High School on April 13, 2024.
This race will raise money for high school FCA students who are participating in the Emerging Leader Experience.
Our event will be chip-timed and meander through a portion of the City of Venice’s Inter-Coastal Waterway exercise path, and end at the VHS athletic facilities. Join us for this exciting 5K!

CLINT HURDLE CELEBRITY GOLF SCRAMBLE
OCTOBER 14
We had a blast at our 4th Annual Clint Hurdle Celebrity Golf Scramble! It was a beautiful day as golfers got to play alongside and meet former professional athletes, all while supporting the ministry of Sarasota County FCA. A HUGE THANK YOU to our main sponsoring athlete, Clint Hurdle, and all our local businesses for their support.

OCTOBER 11
Once again, Jesus showed up at Fields of Faith! Wednesday, October 11th was an incredible opportunity for our community's schools, churches, students, coaches, parents, and teachers to come together. With over 600 in attendance, we worshiped the Lord, heard stories of how He changed students' lives, as well as our guest speaker's (Clint Hurdle). And in spite of a brief downpour, 30 people met Jesus as their Savior! A huge thank you to all our supporting churches, volunteers, Vital Gathering and Global Revival. Great things are happening in our community, and be on the lookout for our next Fields of Faith!

Wednesday, August 9
Jesus taught us the importance of ministering as a team. On Wednesday, August 9th, some of our staff got to see that being lived out at CoastLife Youth in Venice. The Kick-Off service highlighted FCA’s ministry in our community’s schools. A HUGE thank you to Trevor Ritchie (their youth pastor) and his leadership team! We’re so grateful for your friendship and support.
LAKELAND LEADERSHIP CAMP
JUNE 26-30, 2023
This summer's Lakeland Leadership Camp was incredible! Hosted on Southeastern University's campus, LLC is for student-athletes, Huddle Coaches and volunteers who serve as leaders on their local campuses and in their communities. The camp focuses on teaching practical skills for Christian growth, the development as an effective campus leader and the training for spiritual, organizational and motivational tools for use in the FCA Campus Ministry.
Sarasota County FCA strives to be able to give a scholarship to every student that is in need and would like to attend Lakeland Leadership Camp. Be on the lookout for info on next year's camp!
FCA 5K
APRIL 29, 2023
We got to experience our first-ever FCA 5K on Saturday, April 29th at Venice High School. Thank you to all our sponsors, Durti Runners Race Timing, and this amazing community for supporting our student leaders. With over 200 participants, we can’t wait to see what our next 5K holds!
